♕1st Experiement [Action]
[Bonnibel had been walking for some time now. The sun was high and warm in the sky when she had started out, and now it had just slipped past the horizon. Her legs and feet were sore hours ago, and now she was also starting to get hungry.]
"Ugh, what the cabbage is even going on here?"
[Here we go again, another day, another kidnapping. In the past she would have handled these sorts of things with calm grace and dignity, but not today. It wasn't that long ago that Bonnibel spent a month or more pasted to a sistern wall by deer saliva, and her patience was already thin. She yelled some obscenities and kicked a rock with her right foot, hard, and then winced. Her toes took it worse than the rock did, but that was all part of the catharsis, or something. Grumbling loudly, she sat down and clutched her head in her hands, rubbing at her temples.]
"You kept me waiting long enough last time Finn and Jake, when the lettuce are you going to turnipping show up?!"

"That's right, we're not being pervs Fi! We're just being buds, and having fun!" Bonni chimed in, in agreement with Marceline. And really she meant it. Well, okay maybe she was a bit of a perv under everything, but it's not like she was coiled and ready to pounce on Poor Fionna or anything. she was definitely aware that there was an age gap, although she could tell that it wasn't quite as severe as the one between her and poor Finn.
Bonni nodded as Marceline talked about the burdens or rule, and gave her a sad little look when the forced smiles were mentioned, one that said something along the lines of 'you noticed, huh? ' "It can be total dirt balls! It gets under your junk and all in your stuff, no matter who you are!"
And then her heart sank. The light slipped right out of Fionna's face in an instant, all because of something she herself had said! Glob almighty, was this how terrible she had made Marceline feel when they had that fight just a minute ago? Great Bon, now you managed to say something dumb and get under Fi's junk this time. Just when things had calmed down. Good work! Way to go! Usually you're more careful Bon. Maybe being wrapped up in rules is something you need to keep you from saying stupid stuff. Maybe you're better off having Peppermint Butler chide your every move to keep you from being a huge butt.
"I.. Fi, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to bring up any uncomfortable stuff." Her face was a little crestfallen when she talked to the girl. Wait a minute? Was this a repeat of her previous work? Did she and Marcy tease Fi a little too much? Peppers and Cumin she was just messing up left and right today. She was thinking too much, that was always her problem. And maybe she was a little too caught up in Marceline, and hadn't been paying enough attention to Fi. And maybe her attempts to fix that just backfired on her.
"Do you want me to warm that stuff back up for you in the fire, Fi? I can make sure it stays totes juicy?"

"You guys are total pervy buds then!" She said, laughing. Of course she didn't mean it, she was more than happy to be around these guys. Whatever hey were doing was their own thin, but they were still Princess Bubblegum and Marceline.
She shook her head. "No dudes, its ok. It's just...the last time we tussed and stuff, she was doing some glopped up stuff, messing with my heart guts. I'll talk to you guys about it later, I just...don't really wanna talk about it, I guess. Yeah, please warm the food up."

Yeah they were buds! Which really was strange, given their past and their social roles. Marceline couldn't help but wonder, actually fear, that their getting along was just a product of their being away from OOO? What a lumping messed up thought to have! It took almost all of Marcy's energy not to fall into a contemplative silence. "Yeah, fun!" With that she laughed it off, draining what red she could get from the food on her plate. It wasn't often that she drained something that had been cooked. Really, it tasted a lot better some how! Hot red was great!
"Yeah, no big!" She flashed both Fionna and Bonnibel a gentle smile. The subject clearly wasn't the best one for right now. Eating and sleeping, they needed to get those out of the way and then maybe try again? "We probably should finish eating and catch some sleep anyway!" She looked up at the sky, able to see that the snow was making it's way toward the ground at the same rate as before. If they stayed outside too much longer they were going for be hella sick in the morning.

Bonni cut the thought off abruptly; she didn't want to hear it, or even think it. That nagging anxious inner voice of hers was getting louder, more obnoxious, and that probably meant that Bonnibel was probably physically and emotionally tired. Maybe getting the plop to bed should be a pretty high priority, and maybe they were all just worn out? Without any further anxiety she put Fionna's portions onto some freshly cleaned sticks, and back into the fire for a bit. Just long enough, she hoped, to get them nice and hot again. "I really totally understand that Fi. We can talk about that stuff whenever, and if-ever you're ready okay? Here you go, let me know if these need any more warming."
And then after serving Fionna's food up, and without a word Bonni slipped out of her clothes, and into her nightshirt. She decidedly didn't make a fuss over it, or even tease Marceline again. It was a little colder in just that short sleeved shirt, but she wouldn't be out in the snow for much longer. And, with a little work, she took charge of her emotions. She was used to that anyway. Taking her emotions by the reigns and leading them to where they needed to go was practically a daily occurrence for her. Bonni brought her sunniest of dispositions back into focus, after all they were just tired, and nothing was wrong. This was the most fun she'd had since, well, since she was thirteen for the second time! She found a new and awesome friend in Fionna, she had resolved some of her own emotional junk and, Peppers and Cumin, she even got to flirt a little! And if that had really bothered Marceline, then Lemons, she wouldn't have been flirting back now would she? Bonni realized that she should be happy right now, not worried and filled with self doubt! And, well, really she was happy, wasn't she!
"Right, right, yeah you're totally right Marcy, we really should! Lemons and limes I can't even think of the last time I was able to stay up this late, and I don't even know how the plum late it is! And besides, there's some stuff I need to do in the morning, when the birds are back."
Bonni leaned up, and gave Fionna and Marceline both hugs, one at a time, and then a big one with all three of them. "Fi, Marcy, thank you both for finding me out in that glob forsaken snow. You both totes saved my buns tonight. And, yeah, we did have a cabbageload of fun! More fun than I've had in the longest time, you guys. And I really mean that."

She chewed her food a bit more, but once it was announced that everyone was going to try and get some sleep, she was more than happy to just finally sleep. These guys...they were friends, and she cared about them.
"Sure," she said, and then hugged her and the other girls. At least she wouldn't sleep alone.
She looked over at Marceline. "All of us in the same thing?"

With all that had come to light about Bonni (and herself) it felt strange to see the darkness that lurked just under the surface with Fionna. It wasn't the time or the place to get into it, but Marceline couldn't help but think about it while she took to cleaning up after herself. Just how was it that someone could go from happy-go-lucky to almost depressed in a matter of seconds? The answer was simple yet complicated for the sheer amount of unknown details: It was The Ice Queen. While Fionna finished up her food Marcy dug a hole in the ground, a place for them to toss their food scraps and junk.
"I don't mean to be a total kill joy," Said while she was busy hugging her two favorite people back, giving them the best squeeze that she could manage. "-but we have a walk that is glob knows how long to do in the morning." Alone? That was a thing that would, from here on out, be voluntary. Neither girl had to face things alone unless they really wanted to.
Kicking some dirt onto the pit, due to knowing about the wild bears, Marcy looked back at Fionna with a nod of her head. "Sorry dude, they only dropped one tent." She glanced in the tents direction, not seeming too worried about the arrangement. "But there are three sleeping bags, three pillows and a pretty heavy looking blanket we can share." She winked, "First person in there gets dibs!" Of course she was planning to be last. That way she could clean up the camp site and feed the fire just enough so that it provided some heat to them while they slept.

Bonni folded her day clothes a little too neatly, and stuck them, along with her crown in the corner of the tent. No sense letting them get all wet and cold from the snow, right? "Gute nacht meine freunde!" She poked her head out of the tend, and waved sweetly. It was probably a sign of her exhaustion that she had defaulted to talking in German.
She slipped into the closest sleeping bag, and yawned. Bonni had planned to get up in a bit to drape the blanket about, and ready the other bags, but she needed to lay there for a minute first. It wasn't until then that she realized just how sore and tired she really was. Her legs ached, her back ached, and her foot was still felt a little weird. Correction, everything felt a little weird. Maybe this whole day had just been a weird dream? She caught herself seriously wondering if she would wake up in her own bed, and then have a good talk with a round of therapists to try and understand this thing. She wanted to lay awake thinking, running through the day and analyzing every last detail, but before she could even get up to set the blanket Bonnibel Bubblegum had fallen asleep.
(OOC: The follow up thread, starting the next morning has already started here (http://queenoflogs.livejournal.com/48593.html), since this thread has only a couple of posts left.)

"I guess its my turn next. Um, you really don't need to feel bad about the whole Ice Queen thing man: its my own biz to deal with, and a real hero won't let that stuff get to her. I promise you, I'll let you guys know about it when I get the chance, ok? I know its sorta early to say it, but I really trust ya both to give me good advice about what to do. Good night man."
And because there was also another quiet understanding between Fionna and Marceline, she went into the sleeping bag next to Princess Bubblegum so the remaining sleeping bag would be the one right next to her. She changed, throwing her clothes in a heap in the corner, then reached over and gave Bubblegum a hug.
"Thanks for everything today PB," she said, right before she curled up and closed her eyes.
(The End)
Bonni was first, as a Princess was one to do. Marcy waved meekly, a small smile on her face, always too amused when PB slipped into that super weird language. She felt sorry for Bonni, but not in a pittying way. Just how much did the Bubblegum Princess have on her shoulders before she ended up here? Just how much more did being here add? Drawn out of her jumbled thoughts, she turned to Fionna. "Yeah," Her voice was quiet, the words drawn through the same small smile. "--I won't feel bad if you don't." She very much meant that, it could be water under the bridge at Fionna's request. "I trust you too, Fionna." Not too soon at all, there was just something, a pull that made putting trust and faith in Fionna feel right. "We can talk about that stuff whenevs," She started to clean up the small grounds around their tent, she wasn't done yet. Not before she was able to say, "Sleep tight you two!" Just loud enough to be heard.
It only was another ten minutes; however it felt like hours. Marceline packed up what was still of use, discarded what wasn't and did what she could to make the area safe. After that was done, and both Fi and PB were out for the night, she crawled into the tent and settled down into her own little spot.
