opus no. 10 [video + action, backdated to the 14th]
[The video feed does not start up anywhere in Austria's house, but this doesn't mean Austria is lost, amazingly enough. Instead, Austria is standing outside in front of a rather large and ornate building. It's actually been here for a while now, but she's only just now making this announcement. Why? Because Austria is a perfectionist and needed to make sure everything was exactly as she wanted it before opening it up to the public.]
Ah, Guten Tag, ladies. It has been a while since I've appeared on the Vine publicly like this, hasn't it? Ah well. I have a rather important announcement to make. I've built a concert hall here in the Gardens. It's...ah.
[She has to think about how to explain where it is. Directions are hard okay? She ends up just panning the camera around the area.]
It shouldn't be too difficult to find. Currently I am offering music lessons. I can teach most instruments with a few exceptions. I would also love it if anyone else who is already knowledgeable in music would like to give lessons as well. Or if you would like to use the practice rooms as a practice space that is also welcome. I'm hoping to gather enough interest for an orchestra, or at least a small ensemble or string quartet, but for now I'm the only performer.
Which leads me to my final point. I plan on giving a Christmas concert on the 24th of this month. It will be from 5 to 7 PM. Anyone is welcome to attend, though any disruptive behavior will be dealt with.
[That means you, Prussia.]
I look forward to hopefully seeing quite a few of you then. Also I will be here for the rest of the day, if any of you would like to stop by and visit or discuss matters relating to the concert hall. with me in person.
((ooc: Since this is backdated to during the event, anyone who wants mistletoe shenanigans is welcome to do so in an action tag to this! Sob I meant to do this sooner but was too tired because of work. Well, I meant to intro the damn concert hall way longer ago. But still.))

action
Österreich! Are you still around?
action
Canadien? Ah, hello, I'd figured I would hear from you.
action
Well, I was just wondering if you needed any help with the setup for your holiday concert.
action
Help setting up would be lovely, thank you. Perhaps we should decorate?
action
And if you ever need a harpist, I suppose I can try, for you.
Um, what instruments can you play, miss?
Re: [video]
Um... how about something that's easy to learn?
Easy? No instrument is easy. Nothing can be learned in just a few weeks, or even a couple years. Learning any musical instrument well enough to become a skilled musician takes years of practice. That said, most prefer the piano as their first instrument, as it is considered the best instrument to play when first learning to read music.
Re: [video]
I'll like to learn how to play a piano, then!
Excellent. Then stop by the concert hall at your earliest convenience so I can get you started. Ah, please do let me know in advance when you intend to come by, though.

[ Sakuri leaves the Vine's field of vision, which still continues to run. She hasn't quite understood how to work it yet. ]
[ After a while, Sakuri manages to find the concert hall. She stares at it, in awe. ]
Wow...

Do you offer voice training? I'm sure Papi would be very disappointed in me if I were to neglect my lessons.
no subject
Ja, I believe I can offer that as well.

I shall make sure to attend!

I've only ever played solo or accompanied by a piano and never for large audiences. But I have taken lessons since I was old enough to hold the instrument properly.
Video
Excellent. I take it you would be interested in joining a potential ensemble, then?

[This isn't Akiha's first encounter with one of the countries, but she was able to rationalize Canada as being a nickname. The 'Republic' makes that impossible.]
Excuse me? Did you just identify yourself by the country you're from?

[Akiha stares for a long moment.]
You're delusional. But I'll overlook it for the time being. Has anyone else expressed an interest in the quartet?
Video
Not yet. However, I am hopeful for it. If not, at the very least we could work out duet arrangements for future concerts.
Video
That's acceptable. Do you have sheet music? I only have a few of the classics memorized.
Video
[This is a woman who clearly does not have a life.]
Video
Could we not use the special dirt to recreate them?
