❄ 9 | voice, open for action

Hey, Prusse! I was wondering if I could drop over for a few minutes some time today? If not, that's cool, too, but it's just been a while she we've seen each other, ya know? [How nonchalant is she? So nonchalant. But really Prussia, how big are your hands she can't remember and must come look or these chick mittens won't happen.

And after she's addressed her friend, she'll get the vine to switch to a full broadcast for her.]

Hello, everyone! I know the holiday season is, well, more or less here, and lots of people have festivals and celebrations in the winter, so I was thinking maybe we should try to do something. Everyone, I mean. Unless the Queen is planning on ruining everything for us, but let's try not to be too negative, eh? There's already plenty of mistletoe up for decorations, so with a little bit of cheer and companionship, a little party or group skating outing or something would be fun, I think... Right? [Canada is trying to be confident about suggesting things, really. Just bear with her. Or possibly encourage her, that always helps.]

Oh, and I think I made too many cookies again today. Feel free to drop by the spaceship if you'd like some before my sister eats them all.

[Then she thanks the vine so the feed will end, and for the better part of the day she'll be outside of the spaceship (which smells like gingerbread and cinnamon, if your nose is keen) practising Christmas carols on her harp and waiting for visitors. Although she's aware of the mistletoe, she's not too worried on avoiding it, so you'll just have to be. Or not.]

[She's forgotten given Canada permission to visit as soon as she shuts the vine call down, preoccupied with positioning her sword in the perfect spot on the wall. But it means that Prussia is in her room, though.]

Well, I thought I saw a-- [She's obviously been talking to herself, or at least expecting Grell when Canada shows up. The room is still immaculately clean, so there's nothing to modestly apologize for.] You found the place quickly.

Of course [which can be directed at either comment. She moves to the window to push the curtains aside, and let in more fresh air.] Magnificent, isn't it?

[She lets out a low whistle; some habits die hard, even in such a ladylike place as the Gardens.] You really are your mother's daughter. [The bottle has a place on the table now, as the whole room is a luxury after living for a year in a shack. She can ask about the occasion, but Prussia isn't about to question free wine.] Let's hope I don't stay here long enough to turn this into a castle.

Let's say I don't want to stay here long enough to start planning for castles. Castles are built to last.

[The fancy glasses aren't her own-borrowed from her landlady--but they're good enough to pour drinks into for her guest.] I never planned to stay here this long, remember?

[identity profile] beerjugs.livejournal.com 2011-12-22 08:30 pm (UTC)(link)
Now, is this place worthy of my legacy? [But she's skirting around the subject that she can't very well leave here on whim. She places Canada's glass on the nice writing desk.] I do have fond memories of castles, though.

[identity profile] beerjugs.livejournal.com 2011-12-22 09:50 pm (UTC)(link)
To my little castle. [The wine is good, still cool enough from the walk outside. She places her hands on either side of the glass appreciatively.] Do you think that's what it takes? Maybe it's time to start my own army.

Then all it would take is a lucky hit. A bit too appropriate for an unpredictable place like this. [She doesn't dismiss the idea entirely, but Prussia is visibly weary. Setting her glass down with some noise, she hops up, wrenching a stray mistletoe off the window frame.]

The blasted plant is growing everywhere!

[Prussia is nothing if not stubborn. One foot on the window sill, she pushes with all her strength until the plant snaps--and sticks to her hand.]

That's very... Festive of this place.
