Hmm, is it already the twenty-ninth in this place?  With the time discrepancy upon arrival, I very nearly missed the date.  After one thousand years, birthdays hardly matter, but even so, it would be sad to spend it entirely alone.

It really is too bad, a birthday is always the perfect excuse to hold a party, and I do so miss dancing, but as I've said already, I am quite unprepared.  I have yet to create my home, which certainly poses a problem.  Instead, consider this an open invitation to join me for tea and sweets.

Ah, was it that easy to realise? Well, it is another birthday.

It's certainly quite easy to forget something so trivial once you have lived several hundred years, but there are certain reasons I could never forget mine.

Well, I'll admit I may not have figured it out if you did not mention birthdays. But after that point, only someone completely incompetent wouldn't be able to eventually piece it together, I think.

To be fair, I brought vampires up... but that's because I thought people with bat wings stand out more than you, while dressing in a similar style.

But the nickname was an accident I believe.
