[action] Moving day!
[Jessica has a wagon, a bulbasaur, and several helpful robots. The odd caravan is wearing a light path between the fortress and Beaumont, bearing various bundles of stuff: clothes, bedclothes, a stock of items identifiable as healy things from Sephiroth's home, and various nerd implements, among other things.]

(Well, apart from Sephiroth.)
Do you know Grell very well?
no subject
I guess I'm just sort of desperate for company.
no subject
But I do know what you mean. At home, I don't have very many friends at work-- which is where I spend most of my time. It can get-- old.
I've spent some time with Grell, actually! She's a very interesting person.
Do you miss Zenobia?
no subject
[awkwaaard]
Yeah. I guess the interesting thing is one reason I'm doing this; I'm kind of desperate for some sort of, um, mental stimulation. Other than training robots. [And soldiers living with her.]
[She looks down at Bulbasaur.] Yeah... I mean, she's kind of, um, pushy and all, but... [sigh] And she even liked it here.
no subject
I understand.
Yes, things have a way of becoming routine here. I'm sure you won't lack for mental stimulation at your new place!
Speaking of, let me know when you're settled in, there's something I'd like your help on, if you can spare the time. A little project of mine.
no subject
[The project perks her up, though.] What's that?
no subject
Well, it's early days, but thanks to the willingness of our little friends to allow me to tinker with them-- I feel prepared enough to begin building my own AI here. I know it'll be very different from what I'm used to at home, but we do have access to the bit of the Shinra labs that exist here, so that's something! Of course, I can fabricate components, but-- [She chuckles.] I'm getting ahead of myself.
Anyhow, what do you say? Think it over, if you like-- of course I'd be more than willing to return the favor, if you need an extra pair of hands for anything.
no subject
[She flashes a grin.] Just getting to do something like that would be its own reward! I'd love to help out. Better for my figure than baking all the time, anyway.
no subject
At home, I'd order Wutaiese takeout, but pastry sounds like a fine idea for an all-nighter or two.
[She chuckles.]
Oh, there is some BS magic involved, but it can be substituted for or worked around-- I'm sure we'll make some interesting discoveries during the process.
no subject
It might give us some more clues about how this place works, too. That'd be nice. (And it would be nice to figure out how to do things the right way...)
no subject
We'll get started soon-- when you're settled and I've gathered everything!
If nothing else, there will be snacks. Which as everyone knows, are vital to science.
Ah, it seems we're nearly there-- need a hand arranging your things?
no subject
I wouldn't turn it down, no. [Another flash of smile.]
[all apologies, real life madness]
Well then! Team effort it shall be.
Any tools in all of this? We can always use more tools. For science.
Or just because the more tools the better, or merrier.
[Insert trademark chuckle here.]
[apologies back atcha!]
