[ When Haruhi had initially awakened, it was suffice to say she had felt... dread. You don't wake up, feeling naked, alone, surrounded by plant-life. It's just not a normal occurance. Her inital thought, from there, was that she was dreaming. Everything, including the white sundress, was false. It sent a shiver down her spine, but then she realized, with a grand smile, that that meant this was an unusual happening. Something special. And it was happening to her. It was all so reminiscent of that one book, that one movie -- well, no there were several adaptions, weren't there. It was cemented when the cats started talking to her, giving her the details, telling her the basic gist of things, too. She was completely ecstatic. When she asked if she could contact the Brigade, too, they even told her how to use the communications here, and that was so out there, so abnormal and completely unique -- maybe even John hadn't experienced this! She'd totally slipped into another dimension, that was the only explanation. She'd fallen down the rabbit hole, just like Alice. She had hoped for something more original, but... Well, beggars can't be choosers, right?

When the feed flicks on, Haruhi is standing, still in the dress she arrived in. Hands on her hips, a confident smile on her lips. ]

Talking cats? Really cliche. Well, I guess it can't be helped. [ Not to mention, she's the one who wanted Shamisen to be able to talk... ] But, let me guess. This is Wonderland, right? The cats said something about the Gardens -- well, whatever! Do I have to fight the Jabberwock? Is the Queen offing too many people's heads? Is the whole world going crazy or something?! Well, which is it?! Or is it all of them? [ She seems to consider this for a moment, but before grinning even wider. ] ... Awesome! Well, don't worry, Haruhi Suzumiya's here to set things right, with the SOS Brigade! [ She has yet to consider that they wouldn't be here. After all, no one's told her they aren't, and at the very least, Kyon was there with her, before. Even if that had some really really crappy dream -- she could rely on the chore boy to be around to carry her stuff, couldn't she? And the scenery just wouldn't be the same without Mikuru. ]

Still, you know, it'd be great if we could have Mikuru in her Battle Waitress costume here... We could make a sequel to The Adventures of Mikuru Asahina! Ah, I know, I'll just commit everything to memory, and when I go back, I'll write the script on my experiences! 'Based on a real experience by Haruhi Suzumiya, who saved an alternate world'... No, the sad part is taking the wonderland aspect and being serious with it. The only real connection is that there is a Queen of Hearts and that this is a different land.

I don't recall Wonderland being a place where only females could be.

What's the purpose of that? Don't tell me the freak running this place has a lesbian fetish.

Oh, no I'm not. There's some other reason why there's only women here with romantic poetry between women in the local library.

Is there really only Sappho to read in this place? Wait, there's a library?

Oh, of course not. There's various other works here as well. But yes, and you are bound to find poetry, fairy tales and other such things.

Geez, all this place needs is a catholic school to round it out, and then they can call it Yuri Paradise.

Anyway, what mind-bending mission are you going to shove onto those people you mentioned?

First, we'll defeat the Jabberwock! It'll be a difficult, bloody battle, and I fully expect one of us to die during it. After that, we'll conquer the Queen, who will be completely defenseless without her beast, then we'll get back Wonderland, send everyone home, go home ourselves, and make a movie about our adventures, with Mikuru starring in the lead role.
