Well! Um, my name is Tsubaki. Tsubaki Kasugano. [She bows.] I'm the head miko and figurehead of the Omekata temple in Sakurami, Japan.

Don't know where Sakurami is, but I'll make you feel at home right away. I'll hit the area in with an earthquake in a couple hours. Feel free to stop me by force, unless you want the area to be in ruins!

Last I checked, miko were just managers of shrines, not ninja or whatever.

No, Miko have a shrine they protect and they also fight youkai and whatever else causes trouble in the area. That's the whole point!

Well, youkai aren't real from where I'm from. All I have to protect my shrine from are bad outside influences.

I don't care for cults. I'm a celestial, a tennin - that's a holy being if you don't know. If I want the religious, all I have to do is talk to my kind.

Well, I assumed you'd at least know a tiny bit of religious scripture. What kind of miko are you supposed to be if you can't fight and don't know any scripture at all?
