[it did not take her a long time to get used to the vine and mirror communication, really. she has played with things like this before in her own house... the mirror shows her upper body, a young woman with bright green eyes and dirty blond hair falling over her shoulders just slightly curled at the end. she looks more annoyed than surprised, at the moment, gently waving the letter she received upon arrival]

So. Does this thing really work? Or am I having a wild dream again?

[ A nod. ] What did you want to speak about, England-san?

[ Madoka looks to England curiously before nodding--pink eyes looking towards one of the benches the other girl was looking for. ] Is right there okay...?

[hm... looks to where Madoka is directing. she could have sworn there was not a bench there before. this place is so weird. they'd have to be careful about talking. Austria mentioned the animals] ... Yeah.

[England moves over to the bench to sit, glancing around at things suspiciously, as though everything had eyes. she did not feel safe in this world] So. How long have you been here?

[ Madoka pauses to think about that--though, she doesn't fail to notice how England is acting. Looking a bit uncertain, she answers. ] A few months now. But-- it feels like... it hasn't been that much time at all--

Are you okay...?

[blink... ah, she sits up straight, brushing back some of her bangs]

I... I'm just not sure what to make of all this. I've heard it's impossible to get out of here, and none of the people I know from home think that I can do it. It really bothers me that someone brought me here and is forcing me to stay... everyone to stay.

[ At that, Madoka smiles gently. Although she was taken here right before she could do what she had wanted to do for others through becoming a magical girl--she knows that if it's fulfilled, then... ] Nothing is impossible.

[ And there's nothing wrong with finding hope in leaving here if someone really wants to do that. ]

[a-ah, cute. England blushes, for a variety of reasons, but mostly because she finds this girl inspiring. Madoka was the only person who wasn't a country to greet her when she first arrived, and she seemed like she genuinely wanted to help England. after a moment, England turns to look away]

It's nice to believe in things like that, I suppose. [and she wanted to. but England is usually a very cynical person. even now, after hearing all the stories from her fellow countries, after seeing Prussia's sad face, she is more discouraged than when she first arrived]

[ Madoka's own gaze shifts. ] ... M... Mm. Did any of your friends tell you that people have left before?

So far, that's been true, but.... England-san--that's one reason why we should find a way.
