[Reno is in the Mansion (with the Electro-Mag Rod). Bored, and a little annoyed, she has begun to systematically wreck everything that can be easily damaged. Walls have been dented and cracked, furniture has been tasered, the cushions of the beautiful couches have been torn open, their insides strewn about, and curtains are burning in the fireplace.

Just look at that poor piano. The state of the kitchen--! And the tea strewn everywhere. It's as if Reno is engaged in a destructiveness contest with the storm. Maybe she is.

In any case, she's feeling more cheerful now. Getting in on the action, the Vine elects to display this elegant picture of the Turk engaged in her work.]

[Reeve appears, still a bit bloody (due to her recent encounter with the undead), but mostly unbowed. She's discovered she's not half bad in a crisis, but she'd still rather have gone without. She's watching Reno with an expression that seems made up of exhaustion, fondness, and curiosity in equal parts.]

Making yourself at home, Reno? I think the storm is doing it's part as far as mass destruction goes.

[She's carving something into the wall, and she doesn't turn around right away, though she recognizes Reeve's voice immediately.] Right, I'm marking my territory while practicing a little civil disobedience. [She's definitely got the right meaning of "civil disobedience" there.] Can't be outdone by a little storm.

[She turns toward Reeve then. Already amused by her own wanton vandalism, she perks up further at the sight of Reeve's blood.] What happened to you?

[Reeve smiles.]
No, you're right of course. What Turk could be outdone by a supernatural storm? It's comforting, really.

Oh, me? There was some trouble with someone whom I've been told is "undead". She attacked several people, including Gabrielle-- [she gestures towards her throat] then me. Well, to be fair, I did kick her. She hurt Gabrielle fairly badly, actually.

[Reno pauses.] Are you serious? Aw, fuck. [She sighs.] I should've gone with you guys, that sounds like fun.

Don't you got your Materia with you? [Destroying things worsens Reno's grammar.]

Yes, you really missed out. Painful for you, I know.

My Materia? Well, yes, but I didn't think of using ChocoMog. I'll heal myself and whoever I can, of course, but having a Chocobo running around isn't likely to help anyone.

I'd have taken that thing out, no problem. Would've gotten all the ladies wet for me.

I didn't mean ChocoMog, Reeve. Obviously, I didn't mean that. ChocoMog is the most useless Materia in the whole world. There isn't a single situation where it could help a single person.

I was talking about your healing stuff.

Well, I bandage a lady, so that's something-- and I was able later to use my healing Materia, so yes.

Anyway, I like ChocoMog. It's awfully cheering, and that's worth something in a crisis.
Also, it confounds anyone confronted by it, so there's always that.

Oh you bandaged a lady, huh? Not as good as banging a lady, but maybe you can get something out of it later. Was she hot?

Uh, Reeve, nobody needs to be cheered up in a crisis. They need to focus on their job and get shit done. Yeah, I guess you got a point about the confounding thing, though. That thing can fucking blindside you.

It doesn't surprise me that you disagree, Reno. However, I like to think that both aims can be accomplished-- and that morale is just as important as outright safety.

[She chuckles, amused.]
But yes, "blindside" is the word for what those two can do.

As for the lady in question, she's-- yes, she's attractive. But I didn't help her with that in mind. She's a good friend.
