[Voice]

It's certainly a change from my usual lifestyle, having the Vine always prowling around. It's like a village you can never leave, because the village follows you through the vines.

I can't remember the last time I had this little peace and quiet. Are humans always this talkative, or only when forced together under mysterious circumstances?

No, we're pretty much always chattering monkeys.

You could always go hang out with the robots or on the edges or something, if you really need peace and quiet.

[identity profile] notvitiligo.livejournal.com 2011-06-25 03:26 am (UTC)(link)
Really? They seem pretty harmless in general, at least once they know how to not be nuisances. Kind of cute.

There's probably some way to put it on like a privacy setting so you don't have to get messages... I haven't bothered to figure that out yet, but I could.

[identity profile] notvitiligo.livejournal.com 2011-06-25 03:28 am (UTC)(link)
I guess your best bet is to get some earplugs or something.

[identity profile] notvitiligo.livejournal.com 2011-06-25 03:39 am (UTC)(link)
Sounded kind of like a complaint, what with the "peace and quiet" and the "puny humans" thing. [Though Jessica does not appear to be personally offended.]

Though I guess your initial statement was kind of inaccurate, since a bunch of people here aren't human in the first place.

[identity profile] notvitiligo.livejournal.com 2011-06-25 03:47 am (UTC)(link)
I wouldn't be sure of that, actually... I'd take a survey, but I doubt the findings would be all that helpful, and I'm not that committed to winning a hairplitting argument. [Her lips twitch in a flash of smile.]

[identity profile] notvitiligo.livejournal.com 2011-06-25 04:28 pm (UTC)(link)
Yeah, granted, any survey here is necessarily gonna be limited in scope. Even leaving aside the option of falsifying results or apathy, there's people who don't seem that up on using the Vine, or at least reading and writing.

[identity profile] notvitiligo.livejournal.com 2011-06-25 04:58 pm (UTC)(link)
Didn't really have one. Just more puny human chatter.

[identity profile] welljustwatchme.livejournal.com 2011-06-25 07:10 am (UTC)(link)
Humans like to talk, yes.

May I ask what you are?

[identity profile] welljustwatchme.livejournal.com 2011-06-25 07:59 am (UTC)(link)
Ah, I see. Do you not interact with humans usually? Or just not long enough to put up with the chatter?

[identity profile] welljustwatchme.livejournal.com 2011-06-25 06:32 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh, yes. That I understand.

Well, here, you could always make yourself a home? Vines tend to sneak into private buildings far less often than they move around everywhere.

[identity profile] welljustwatchme.livejournal.com 2011-06-26 08:17 am (UTC)(link)
So does the vine, unfortunately.

I'm Canada, by the way. It's nice to meet you.

[identity profile] welljustwatchme.livejournal.com 2011-06-28 05:44 am (UTC)(link)
That's a beautiful title to have. Are you from somewhere able to grow flowers in every season?

[identity profile] welljustwatchme.livejournal.com 2011-06-29 07:26 am (UTC)(link)
I've never been able to grow flowers through all my snow and ice, so I think it's special.

[identity profile] welljustwatchme.livejournal.com 2011-06-30 09:14 pm (UTC)(link)
Mmm... Do you live somewhere on Earth?

[identity profile] welljustwatchme.livejournal.com 2011-07-02 01:09 am (UTC)(link)
In... a manner of speaking? I don't follow.

[identity profile] welljustwatchme.livejournal.com 2011-07-02 02:34 am (UTC)(link)
Huh. That's interesting. I don't really understand, but... interesting.

[identity profile] neutralityloli.livejournal.com 2011-06-25 03:29 pm (UTC)(link)
Humans can be talkative, but not always and not all of them. It's definitely something that depends on the sort of humans in question and the circumstances they're in. ...I do prefer peace and quiet myself, though.

[identity profile] neutralityloli.livejournal.com 2011-06-25 06:46 pm (UTC)(link)
R-really? I would prefer humans... but I suppose that's subjective... and that I'm sort of human, myself, in a way, um...

[identity profile] neutralityloli.livejournal.com 2011-06-28 06:53 am (UTC)(link)
Something like it.

[identity profile] existwithoutme.livejournal.com 2011-06-26 08:11 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh, humans love to sing, of course. They are animals, and like most animals, they have their many calls, crying out each to each.

Often the noises are tedious and crass, chatter and clatter, but now and again, one will sing a pretty song.

[identity profile] existwithoutme.livejournal.com 2011-06-27 05:16 am (UTC)(link)
Such a comparison is is not necessarily fair to other animals. [She smiles.] I've known some that were quite intelligent and well aware of what their fellow beasts were saying.

[identity profile] existwithoutme.livejournal.com 2011-06-27 05:55 am (UTC)(link)
I cannot deny the truth of that.

And have you any more specific reason to find humans so distasteful? [Hatreds and dislikes do interest her.]

[identity profile] existwithoutme.livejournal.com 2011-06-28 08:00 pm (UTC)(link)
I understand quite well. I have many of both. In this place, it seems one must grow used to the chatter of humans, as it permeates the very air.

I have decided to make the attempt to associate with them, but I may think better of that idea, before too long.

[identity profile] existwithoutme.livejournal.com 2011-06-29 10:53 pm (UTC)(link)
I'm simply interested for the moment. It might be amusing.

What is your name?

[identity profile] existwithoutme.livejournal.com 2011-07-03 02:28 am (UTC)(link)
I am Kuja.

Your hair is a fine shade, Yuka, as lush as leaves in summer.

[identity profile] existwithoutme.livejournal.com 2011-07-03 07:08 pm (UTC)(link)
I am a self-sufficient being. I want nothing from you, but I have a great appreciation for color, both vivid hues and softer tones.
