[There's an image of a brunette with dark eyes fussing with the shift that she'd woken up in. She hasn't quite taken the time to change yet, and the surroundings don't exactly comfort her, in spite of the scroll she'd been given. She's definitely looking annoyed though.]

I have no idea what happened or how I ended up here, but I'm really going to assume it's something those idiot simulation soldiers did. Either that or, in spite of all my arguing otherwise, I have completely snapped.

And on the off chance this is real, Queen, you really picked the wrong kind of person for your peaceful garden. I'm a Freelancer. A fighter. Not some kind of builder. What use could you have for me?

I swear, this is the Caboose level of ridiculousness... Communicating through plantlife?

[It's a few days before she thinks to check the vine again, but when she does she's a little startled to hear there was antoher Freelancer. She stares at the image for a while, listening, it wasn't anyone she was familiar with, but hat sure sounded like somehing Washington would say, and given what she'd heard about this place already ...]

[Only one way to find out. She requests a mike from the vine, and growls lowly into it, Surprised to find you here . If her suspicions were correct, this supposed Freelancer wouldn't need subtitles.]

[Switching to video, Meta's in armor, as ever, tilting her EVA helmet at the mirror with a low rumble, Bitch, please. I could say the same about you.]

[Meta shakes her head with a low grumble, MY Washington had a dick. No balls, though. Those were always MINE.]

I'm sure you'll find the opposite is true with me, Meta. And in my world, you always had both, up until the simulation soldiers killed you.

[She gives a grunt, ridiculous, but at the comment about the simulation soldiers she snarls viciously, meaningless and filled with anger.]

[Have a laugh, Meta.] You were pulled off a cliff attached to a vehicle by a tow hook. With all the armor damage... I'd call that pretty dead.

[Even more angry growling, and she waffles about a moment before turning and punching the nearest thing of substance. A tree. ]

Nice work there, Meta. Living up to the temper the male had. So, did you die as easy?

[Dangerously low growling, glaring at the mirror, who's to say I died? The end bit was a little fuzzy, and even Meta herself had been surprised to wake up in the gardens, but she'd survived grievous injuries and a fall before. Just barely, but there you had it.]

[She glances away, still growling lowly, You bitch. You rotten fucking bitch how could you.]

[She just snarls at that, don't act so surprised.]

I didn't expect it to happen over her.

[A little chuff, you're a fool, then. It hadn't really mattered to Meta which AI she got, Texas, Epsilon, any others they might have passed over the course of the hunt. The fact of the matter remained that she continued what she'd started. That Washington didn't see it wasn't her problem.]

I was willing to trust you. I was a fool to think that the AIs being gone would have brought back my old partner.

[She snarls fiercely at that, she's not worth it. not without them.]

He was worth it. Not you. Monster. I just didn't want to believe he was dead.

[She's very agitated now, snarling mad, death would have been too kind for a weak stupid human like her.]

No. It would have been kinder than him being turned into a monster.

[A low, dangerous growl here, she's getting what she deserves.]

[She freezes as that.] What's that supposed to mean?

[Meta just growls softly and cuts the transmission. She's done with this conversation.]
