[An anonymous text pops up on the vine. The handwriting is neat and steady print, but some of the letters are drawn a little oddly.]

Hello everyone. The queen brought us here to hook up, right? But seeing as there are only girls here, well, then that would obviously only work with lesbians. Therefore I am conducting an anonymous poll to try to understand the sexual preferences of our group as a whole.

Please respond back with your sexual preference as well as any notes or comments that have relevance. There is no need to reveal your identity if you don't want to. And, if you want to keep it simple and don't want any discussion of the matter, please just write a number.

Write "1" if you are a lesbian.
Write "2" if you are attracted to other girls but aren't totally sure.
Write "3" if you go for males and females.
Write "4" if there is a certain female you'd go for but not any other girls
Write "5" if you think you're not gay but aren't 100% sure
Write "6" if there's no way you'd be in to girls

Thank you. Hopefully this will help us understand who the Queen has brought here and why. [Because the author surely has no other motives.]

It may be of interest to individuals, but as research, it is of questionable use. There is no reason to believe that everyone who replies will be honest--either with themselves or with you. Also, you will have no way of ascertaining what percentage of the population replied.

Oh. [Well damn. There's really nothing Zenobia can think to say in her defense here. And she's met Sephiroth and knows what she can do. It's kind of scary to her, really.]

Perhaps I'm not qualified to gather information. I apologize for attempting such a thing without being aptly prepared. I will leave this sort of thing to the scholars from now on and won't ask any more questions like this.

I don't mean to say that the knowledge has absolutely no merit, but it would not prove anything conclusively, if your intent is to make a correlation between sexual preference and our presence here.

Yes, that was one of my goals. [Though not the main one.]

I guess I just didn't think things through properly. I knew someone back home who is adept at this sort of thing. I guess you can't just ask questions without thinking about it a lot first.

But there is no harm in it, as long as you do not make any claims and attempt to support them with this research.

[Zenobia doesn't take the remark too harshly, mainly since she wanted this information firstly to satisfy her own curiosity. The fact that she can't use it to figure out anything useful is only a small drawback.]

Alright. I'll let people who are better at this sort of thing decide what it does and doesn't mean.
