Hey...sorry if anyone was looking for me for the last couple of weeks. I only meant that to be like a three hour trip, but I'm back now.

So, those robots on the island are pretty friendly, and I see some managed to get over here. Has anyone been able to communicate? I can't make heads or tails, personally.

You kind of have to play charades with them, but yeah, it's not too hard. They're pretty visually-oriented.

Most of them seem to, they just have a completely different language. It's like trying to talk to a fax machine.

I'd assume that'd be like trying to talk to someone from another country or something. Then again, maybe the super-translation here would compensate... although that wouldn't explain why it doesn't work on the robots themselves...

Uh, anyway, I'm not sure that'd work either, since I'm pretty sure the most they'd get from a cell phone would be like "I am here, are there any messages?" or something.

They were taking apart things that really shouldn't be taken apart and then putting them back together again. I imagine building things is their primary occupation.

That makes sense. Everything was under construction over there. They're probably set up to build the city and take other stuff apart for building materials.

They were invading! I didn't do it really hard or anything, but they still got mad. They must have a short temper. That's dangerous!

Nope. I lost a couple of days there before, though.

Actually, I went to the island that the robots came from with Setsuko, but I couldn't get back through the gate.

Well, if this place is a garden mostly for the sake of looking like a garden, that place is a city mostly for the sake of looking like a city, if that makes any sense. It's pretty developed, but a lot of that seems to be because the robots just really like to build.

I think I see what you mean. It seems like they wouldn't have much use for a lot of the kinds of buildings that usually make up cities.

So, what do they do in their natural habitat? Besides build, I mean? We've had some here, but they were all... pretty confused.
