Question:
Assume a situation where you need to practice something.
You have a friend that has offered to help you.
This friend would be an excellent help.
But the practice would involve being more open with close to exposed than you are comfortable with.
What would you do?

It would involve meeting in person otherwise I would not have this problem.

It is practice to restrain a thing I do. I do not have any real control of it.

I would be willing to meet you in person. And I can restrain people. As long as they're not like Sephiroth or anything. I don't think I could restrain her if my life depended on it.

I am the one trying to learn to restrain what I do. I need help because I do not know how to do it. S my friend has done that before and can help.

I still think that you should ask your friend. If they're a good person, I'm sure they won't take whatever it is too badly.

And I think you should confess your feelings to them.

I do not have any evidence that she has any interest in me beyond friendship. I am not really sure that she thinks of me as a friend. It is hard to tell.

I would rather stay friends with her than get shot down.

Oh. [Long pause.] If you tell her how you feel, might she still be your friend? If I was in "S"'s position, I'd still want to be your friend even if I didn't like you romantically for some reason.

Then, maybe at least do the awkward exposed thing. Then maybe they'll fall in love with you due to seeing your embarrassed self, which I assume would be really cute. It can be pretty powerful.
