I have many names they gave me.

Woman, rebel, terrorist
Remade, hero, comrade
Leader, insane, friend
Myth, legend, term.

However...I prefer one above others.

They once called me "lady".

It says everything.

[Jill sets the paper aside and smiles for a moment.]

Can't even believe I'm doing this. Like some brooding student in Salacus Fields.

Where I come from? The city silences those who speak with different opinions yet sells their failed science projects to crime bosses.

[That sounds partly familiar, if not current.] And you're one of those different opinions people, right?

Blowing stuff up is fun. You're missing out. [Reno seems to have neutral feelings toward terrorists, as long as they're not causing her any trouble.] So what do you do? Kill anyone?

Mm. I simply don't think it's right to have the whole system as rigged as it is.

I kill people that need to be dead, I make plans, raid the city's top secret weapons cache, help save the city from falling to utter chaos, inspire people to have faith in their beliefs. Whatever it takes for change.

A real idealist, huh? I know the type. [She doesn't seem to approve or disapprove. She might be a bit amused.]

Not bad. I do most of that too--except for the inspiring people part, because I don't care about that. At least you're good at something.

[Reno laughs at this. Something besides work? If only. Well, there's here, but here is different.]

Not much, lately. We've had big problems the past couple years. World almost got destroyed. Then the president got kidnapped. Then we had a plague. Then the president got the plague. Then the world almost got destroyed again. Not a lot of room for free time.

But I like drinking, dancing, and spending time with my girls.

...Sounds tough. Did you pull through alright in the end? [As much as she dislikes government, that sounds like a hell of a lot in only a "couple years".]

Yeah, we got through all of it. [Somehow.] The last incident was a week or so ago--or that's how long ago it was before I got pulled here. We've been mopping up and helping out the citizenry since then. [She'd done a lot more public service in the past two years than she'd ever expected to.]

What about you? How'd all your good deeds work out?
