Well, I've never been victimized by a blackmailer, but if I were to be, I'd like to think I'd refuse to cooperate. Instead, I'd be as honest as I possibly could with the people in my life, telling them whatever secret the blackmailer had to hold over me. I'd like to think my friends would stand by me. However, if knowing your secret causes some friends to desert you, you're still better off having told the truth-- either way, you'll know where you stand.
