Well, this finally seems to be working.
Ah, hello. Reeve here! Though it might not be all that obvious, since I seem to be invisible at the moment. Long story short, there was an incident. With a scientific test. Not mine! But it was no one's fault, really. Just the nature of this place at work, I suppose. At any rate, here's hoping my condition won't last too terribly long.
Just to reassure everyone, I'll leave my clothes on so that I'm identifiable! No sneaking around, word of honor. Well, my hand is up. It's just impossible to see.

Well, not precisely. Being within the effect rage of someone whose experiment had an unpredictable outcome made me invisible. It's certainly a new experience! I've no idea how long it will last.

Maybe you can wear some face paint so people can see your expressions still?

Word of warning, though? The effect seems to vary from person to person, so if you're out and about-- and don't want to tempt chance, beware mechanics testing engines.

[Reeve's expression can only be described as hilariously sheepish, yet unrepentant. The effect would be wasted on Sephiroth. If she could see it.]

Well, I'm here-- by which I mean that I'm near the apartment. I don't have anywhere else to be! At the moment.
Are you-- nearby?

[She doesn't seem any more pleased by this.]

I will be there shortly. I trust I can count upon you to remain where you are.

Yes, you can. I'll stay put-- and dressed. No fear.

[She doesn't bother responding again, appearing near Reeve shortly. She examines her, although there is not much to examine at the moment, only her clothes. But there is no sign of injury, fortunately.]

[Odd, being examined while invisible. Still, she's glad Sephiroth can't read her expression.]

Well, I wouldn't say that-- it was an accident, really! Watching a mechanic test an engine is a dangerous activity.

Normally, at least.

[For her part, Sephiroth has an "I don't have time for your excuses" expression on.]

I've told you that this place can be dangerous, and that all is not what it seems. I hope you won't object to me escorting you back to your residence. This effect seems harmless, but I prefer to be cautious.

[She sighs, fond and tired.]
Yes, I know-- and no, I don't mind. I'm almost positive the effect will wear off. But it is fascinating. Anyway, I don't regret exploring-- I can't sit indoors all day, even if things aren't what they seem. If I do eventually go back home, I would like to at least have some interesting stories to tell!

I don't expect you to remain indoors. I merely expect you to be more careful. Such effects are much more likely in the vicinity of those who are making things, especially complicated objects.

[She smiles faintly, thinking of her comrades.] Most likely, I will tell them nothing. It would seem like madness to them, or like a dream I had. Perhaps I will not even remember. It is impossible to say.

Do you think you could replicate that, if I asked very nicely?

Well, I'd love to be able to claim some kind of credit for this, but really, it was sheer chance. Why not drop in on Skyla? She's running tests on a very interesting sort of engine. The Garden seems to have quite a unique effect on scientific endeavors.

Well, I didn't really. It's actually the unintentional side-effect some engine work Skyla was engaged in. I hear there have been other interesting results as well! Not all as innocuous as invisibility, though-- if rumor has it right.

Perhaps, just sometimes, I'm a bit too curious for my own good.
Hard not to enjoy this just a little though!
