[The mirror opens up on Estelle's face close and wide-eyed in view, flushed and awkward.]
I have to say something. I think...if I don't, I won't forgive myself.
[She takes a deep breath.]
I didn't go into the Labyrinth because I was scared!
Um, it wouldn't have mattered in the end, would it? I'm sure I couldn't have convinced the Queen to change her mind...but I should have tried. I'm sorry!
I know it doesn't make up for it, but if anyone needs help preparing for the ball...I think I can help. I learned dancing in the castle.

[Sol sounds a little softer than normal, but that's mostly because she's still tired from her own journey through the Labyrinth.]

It's a figure of speech.
[She's doing her best to sound patient.]

I don't mean to say common people are bad.

There were people in my world who did think that, I think.

There's people like that anywhere.

[she didn't really go looking, didn't know there were entrances there. Too many things were weighing on her mind.]
I don't think anyone will blame you. We're all in the same situation, right?
[she pauses, a little hesitant, but Estelle had been nice before, so maybe she'll explain.]
So what do, um...dancing and dresses have to do with "balls"?

[She blinks at the question, surprised, but doesn't seem bothered by it.]
You're from a place without balls? But I'm from a place where girls don't fall in love with each other, so--um!
I didn't really get to go to many balls, since--I was supposed to keep away from the public--
But in all the tales, balls are grand parties where women meet princes that they marry...and you have to dance and have a beautiful gown.

Girls don't...? But why? That seems...sad.
[a ball is a party. She files that information away carefully. She's got the "prince" part down thanks to conversations about princesses with both Soras, but one bit is still missing from her knowledge.]
What does "marry" mean?

However, she doubts she could really effectively console, and she never went to the labyrinth, either, so, pursuing other topic.]
You don't think we're gonna... haa - have to dance, are we...?
no subject
I don't think so. You can just come to eat the fancy food, if you want.

That sounds like courage to me.

Wait, are we going to have to dance? Like, for real dancing?
no subject
Unless you put on cursed shoes!
no subject
...wouldn't those do the dancing for me already? I mean, I'll be OK as long as I don't have to do anything beyond "move in a vaguely rhythmic manner."

Also, I thought it was until your feet burned off. Though either way, it sounds undesirable.

Meaning I'm abnormal, but whatever.video
I'm glad you didn't go there. I don't think anyone should.
