[The mirrors on the vine activate to show a young woman in the generic white dress, standing in the patch of flowers she apparently arrived in. She looks more irritated to be here than surprised or confused. She tilts it this way and that, then nods in a satisfied manner.]
I thought so.
[She looks down, skimming over the scroll again before handing it offscreen. Something with a yellow paw takes it. She looks back at the mirror, brushing a flower out of her hair, then crosses her arms.]
I am not speaking to an animal of any kind about this. I am Sabrina, Saffron City's Gym Leader.
[She speaks as if that's supposed to mean something to people. It should, at least.]
I'm not in the habit of accepting protection from strangers. Nor am I in the habit of accepting orders to help strangers build things, or become 'one of them'. What I want is an explanation of just what you think you're trying to accomplish. If you don't think you want to explain, then I'll just have to tear this place apart until you decide to face me.
[A number of small, blue and white balls float around her. Each one has a pair of red stripes, and small monsters can be seen moving inside each one.]
I trust that I'm understood.

You're saying that they speak. And they have to answer.
oooooh I almost swooped in fast enough to fix that typo...
oops. My bad?
[She sighs, shaking her head a bit.]
I guess I don't have any way to decide for sure is to ask.
we salvaged it 8V
[She sounds a little confused, because she's really not much of a liar.]
But, of course, everyone here will also help you if you need, I didn't mean to imply otherwise.
Re: we salvaged it 8V
[Sabrina doesn't think she is, though.]
Everyone is just one group of friends, then?

I don't believe you told me your name.
that reminds me, if Sabrina and her pokemans are psychics fela's got permissions
Hello, my name is Fela. May I ask yours?
They are, but Sabrina's not the type to just go reading minds willy-nilly. Thanks for telling me.
[She sighs and brushes a loose bit of hair behind her ear. It can't be helped, she supposes.]
I am Sabrina.

[It doesn't seem to bother her at all, she explains pleasantly.]
But everyone here has been very kind in helping me to keep everything pieced together. Very patient.
[She doesn't literally mean everyone, some have been the opposite of patient with her, but she's a bit too nice to say so, if she even remembers..]

[And now we're on territory that Sabrina feels comfortable with. Discussing the mind.]

[The mind, in a way, was rather her specialty as well.]
But it will stay with me, that is the way of the sonando.

I apologize, then. I would consider constantly forgetting things to be a problem.
Sonando isn't a word I'm familiar with.
no subject
It is the price paid. I am given certain abilities when I take the sonando, and forgetting comes with that.
no subject
Well, I can't say much if you're satisfied with the trade-off. As long as people assist you in remembering, you're fine?

[She knows that, that fact made her life here with her sister all the more important. She did not remember much of her own world, Mahalia had never been to the South and could not remind her, but Fela remembered that she had been alone.]
But it... helps to be reminded, here. There are friends I would like to remember to greet when I see them walking in the garden.

[And she falls silent. It's a little awkward, she isn't much for meeting new people that aren't there to try to claim her badge.]

I hope that isn't any trouble.
