_{[Nausicaä stands atop one of the taller pieces of ruins, one leg up as she peers away from the mirror. A breeze whips at her flying jacket, the dark blue cloth rippling around her legs. She finally turns back to the mirror, looking thoughtful.]}

These ruins... they remind me of some of the ones back home; the cities and towns that were swallowed by the Sea of Corruption. Except here there's no miasma. No spores. I wonder what happened...?

_{[She pauses and shrugs.]}

At least we're not going to starve to death anytime soon. But still....

Is flight itself a marvel from where you are from? Or is the fact I can do it on my own why you see it as wonderful?

Oh, no. We have flying machines - but no one can fly under their own power.

I have not had the chance to run into many machines. I believe the kappa back home wish to change that however.

Well, most of our machines are left over from before the Seven Days of Fire - but they keep us going. We make do.

The 'Seven Days of Fire'?

It sounds like the title of a novel.

The world was consumed by fire from the God-Warriors... It's an old tale, from a thousand years ago.
