[there's the sound of someone clearing her throat, then unsteady breathing for a short moment.]

[the question wavers for a moment, before the girl stumbles into the rest of her words.]

Did anyone get hurt? It's just, I haven't seen--

[the sound of cloth rustling.]

[anyone by the clock tower will find Xion there, Keyblade in hand, despite the danger of the flowers. She's looking over the destruction caused by her fight with Paderau, when they were monsters. The glass doors are shattered beyond repair, and a large chunk of the wall still clinging to the torn away hinges, the steps littered with shards of glass. Inside, sections of the tracks buckle upward, metal rails torn clean in two, walls gouged by oversized claws and scorch marks. Thankfully the main structural points are still intact, leaving the tower standing.]

I'm sorry, I couldn't....protect it. Is that why you're nowhere I can find?

[she tugs her her hood up closer around her face, and steps carefully into the wreckage.]

[follows Xion, and waits patiently while she opens the doors. this bath will be fun. :D]

[yay, bath! :D But she starts...undressing with pretty much no heed for modesty. She's never really been taught otherwise.]

[oh dear. this girl is modesty concentrated. flailing over here.]

X-Xion-san! Don't you want to change somewhere private?

[she pauses, her cloak over one arm, halfway through pulling off the white shift she was wearing underneath. Luckily she seems to have a third layer of underclothes. She takes in Hikari's distress with confusion.]

Private? Why?

[takes her confusion with extreme delicacy. by which I mean, more flailing.]

Why? Well, it's to be modest, and respect each other's space!

[she realizes Hikari is upset, but she hasn't quite figured out why yet.]

Respect space? What does "modest" mean?

[Xion doesn't know what "modest" means? Her mind is blown.]

Wha-? "Modest" is to be a little more reserved, especially when it comes to undressing! It's frightening to see someone take their clothes off without that reservation!

F-frightening?

[she scared Hikari again? Immediately, she clutches her cloak to her chest, looking horrified.]

I'm so sorry! I didn't know, no one ever told me...

[sees she is making Xion scared by that. tries to calm down.]

... It's okay. I'm sorry I overreacted. It's just... weird, really. I didn't expect you to not be aware of modesty.

There...are a lot of things I still don't know. I didn't, um...[she doesn't want to lie, but the truth is far too complicated at the moment.] I didn't grow up like most other people did.

I...I'll go in the other room and change.

Oh. [that.. explains a lot to Hikari.] ... Well, at least you have the people you care about to help you with the things you don't know yet!

No, no, it's fine! I'll head there and you can finish changing. I haven't even started, so it'll be okay.

R-right. [she tries for a small, wavering smile.] My friends have taught me a lot so far.

I'm sorry for scaring you.

[tries a little smile back as well. starts to head to the other room.]

[she waits diligently until the door is closed, then finds herself a towel and finishes with her clothes. Strange. Come to think of it, she's never changed in front of anyone else before, but she never thought she shouldn't, either. She'd have to remember that.]

[once she gets behind the door, she lightly begins changing into the towel. As she takes her pigtails out, she kind of ponders over what kind of life Xion must have had. it's still kind of there when she sets her clothes somewhere safe, and wrapping the towel around her body.]

Alright; let's head on into the bath.

[she's got a towel securely wrapped around herself as well, her face still a little flushed from being startled. But she smiles at her friend, and follows her.]

[heads into the bathhouse, and sticks her foot gingerly into the water to feel the temperature. oh man feels nice.]

It feels great! Do you want to go into it first?

You can go. [it's not a matter of politeness, which she doesn't have much concept of; Hikari is just closer to the water.]

[She smiles, and wades into the bath, just enjoying the feeling of the water. She settles somewhere near the edge.]

[she steps in carefully afterward, taking a moment to adjust to the heat before climbing in all the way. Her first instincts were not to touch the water, but she'd discovered that once you were used to it, it was relaxing.]

[she finds somewhere to sit, then looks up at Hikari through the steam.]

....I hope you don't mind having to explain so many things to me.

[Hikari smiles softly at that, looking back through the steam.]

It's fine. I don't mind explaining things to you. It's really nice, in a way, that you want to learn these things.

Can I ask you, then...what's it like growing up as a normal person?

Okay... I'll try to explain as best I can.

... You're raised by your parents or guardians in a home, along with any sort of family members that live there. Meals are normally eaten together, besides the ones you get when you go to school. It's a lot of learning from school and from the people around you.

[she tries to imagine it, but she has a hard time with "parents". Adults, right? But none of the Organization members really qualified, except for Axel. But Aqua. Aqua looked after her. Eating together, learning together...that's what they all did in the treehouse, wasn't it?]
