one ❚ voice/action.
[ There's a visibly tired woman sitting on the grass, hand over her cheek, fingertips rubbing her eye. She sighs and shakes her head, dropping her chin slightly to her chest, like she's giving up, before looking up to the vine that stretches along the tree. ]
[ She's talking a bit to herself by now, a overly pronounced British accent marking each word of a somewhat distressed voice: ] Can anyone, other than animal, tell me what in God's name is going? 'Cause, really, animals do not talk and I just spent ten minutes staring at a cat that was apparently trying to tell me something. Without using a voice, thankfully, but I swear, I felt like I was in a Disney movie. Don't get me wrong, I love Disney, but not in real life. I feel like I'm tripping out and I am not, that much I'm sure.
[ There's a long moment of silence before she lets out a frustrated sigh. She slaps a hand over her face and speaks in a muffled whisper. ]
Jesus Christ, I'm going insane. I just-- Jesus. God damn it.
I need a drink.
(( OOC; Replies will possibly be sporadic because she's freaking out and if you gave her a VOICE tag, she will think she's hearing voices... ))

Action
Hello there, I come bearing gifts!
[A plump, shapely woman who seems part plant comes into sight, her arms fill with bags.]
Do you still feel you need a drink?
[action]
The woman's accent reminds her of Gaius's meticulously pronounced upper-class Caprican accent, and she has to push the memory to the back of her mind forcibly. ]
I don't think you're going insane. Unless the rest of us are, too.
[ She hasn't dismissed the likelihood of that entirely, to be honest. When she speaks again there's a slight wry quality to her tone of voice. ]
Welcome to the Gardens.

Okay. [ She raises a finger, a meaningless gesture, licking her chapped lower lip as she thinks about her words. ] What the hell are the Gardens, why am I here, and most importantly, where do I get a phone? Because my boss will fire me if I do not show up.
