I'll let you in on a little secret... In spite of how much work Yumeko and I put into raising you, my life overall has been very very bizarre. In fact, even choosing to raise you as my own daughter threw my life for a fairly hard loop. I'm sure I don't even know what 'normal' is, but I know what makes me happy, and that's good enough for me.
