[Xion's sitting on her bed with her hands folded in her lap, back to normal size.]

It's been...three hundred and seventy-one days since I first got here. A whole year...

[she shifts, not looking directly at the mirror, and the object of her attention comes into view--one of the cats that often hangs around the treehouse. It hops up and curls up on her lap, and Xion straightens, looking a little happier. This is no reason for her to be sad, but the anniversary of her death has been weighing on her. Cute distracting animals help.]

I guess I just--wanted to thank everyone I've met, everyone who's ever helped me...even the people who aren't here anymore. It means so much to me. So--...if there's anything I can do in return, just ask. Okay?

[ooc: action is ok for visitors/treehouse residents :D]

I have been here for over a year now, from what I believe is the start of when everyone started to come, and am currently seeing a return of something that has happened before. And yet, I think I am happier now than I ever have been.

[Sitting on a chair, with a cup of tea in hand, Alice does look exactly as she described herself as. Happy, content, almost... filled with glee. Which is actually a rather strange, as it seems she lacks any of her normal cynicism.]

I feel as though I had a great weight lifted off me. No... not just a weight, but as if I was no longer being plagued by something horrible. It feels... so refreshing and serene.

Now, I certainly wouldn't want to have to go through the cycle again, once is enough.

[And suddenly, a tiny bit of mood downer is poured over this talk.]

Is this normal or have I completely lost it finally?

All right, listen up! [ When the mirror unfolds, it reveals an excited Haruhi. Hands on her hips, and a big grin in place, she is set just before a mistletoe. Next to her is the sign, "A surprise will come if all the berries fall!" She points directly at it. ] We're not gonna find out the surprise if we don't all work together! There's too many around, so we have to pool together. Find out what makes them fall and keep doing it until we've got them all. Don't stop until they're all down--no sleep or breaks at all! It might be a portal to some strange land, or a giant fire breathing dragon or, or, or something really, totally, completely mind-bendingly awesome! Oooh, this suspense is gonna kill me! Hurry up, hurry up!

[ The mirror goes black after that, but for the entirety of the event, Haruhi is around clusters of mistletoe, pointing it out excitedly to anyone who'll listen. She really wants that surprise.

Mistletoe threads are fine, also! ]

[ With her empire fallen and opportunities for escape nonexistent, one thing greater than all else plagues Her Tyranny's mind:

She is so BOR----ED!!

Even spending her time familiarizing herself with the prison that is the gardens, including learning to make use of the magical material from the wilds, she is left bored. The weak little humans and all of the horrendously cute fauna are not very entertaining, as they do not seem worth the time to fight; besides, she knows she must bide her time, as much as it makes her sick to think she, the Empress, must essentially hide. The humans (as she has yet to meet anyone besides a certain other Troll that is not human) may prove to be interesting in other ways, though.

After all, with the loss of her favorites--including her Helmsman--she is feeling a bit lonesome.

In an attempt to soothe her boredom, she has come onto land once again. The change in weather is annoying, but far from detrimental. She is, however, particularly curious about the newly-spawned flora here and there. She swallows her pride (after all, her spending her time playing with flowers? Glub.) and inspects the berried plants here and there.

Hopefully someone will come along to inform her of the plant's unique qualities.

Because, you see, this would be a very good opportunity to entertain herself.

What brave, foolish, unlucky, or masochistic enough souls will be caught in the trap of Her Imperious Condescension and the mistletoe?
