[ Those looking on the Vine today may find an odd sight: it looks as though there is a Vine under water, recording. Of course, that would be silly, right? After all, who could possibly be using the Vine while underwat--

Was that...a mermaid?

Something--or someone--flashes by the Vine, but is difficult to make out the dark figure; a few seconds later, the figure comes back, this time moving through the water to come to a stop before the recording mirror. From the beautiful figure and the elegant way of moving through the water, one could very easily assume this to be a mermaid.

Although those really tall candy-corn horns don't seem very mermaid-like... ]

ATTENTION!

To anyone of any species hearing this, listen closely and answer: what planet is this?

Hmm, is it already the twenty-ninth in this place?  With the time discrepancy upon arrival, I very nearly missed the date.  After one thousand years, birthdays hardly matter, but even so, it would be sad to spend it entirely alone.

It really is too bad, a birthday is always the perfect excuse to hold a party, and I do so miss dancing, but as I've said already, I am quite unprepared.  I have yet to create my home, which certainly poses a problem.  Instead, consider this an open invitation to join me for tea and sweets.
