This is an Incident! And it's my duty as Shrine Maiden of Moriya Taisha to investigate and solve the problem! Youkai hunting, treasure hunting, anything at all! Just leave it to me!

[Attacks. Monsters. It's like that horror movie Tomoko had once convinced her to watch, and for days afterward she suffered from nightmares, waking up in the middle of the night, her pajamas soaked with sweat. She doesn't know exactly what's going on, only that whenever she peered outside, she saw glimpses of human-like beasts, bird-women clawing at her window or screeching in harsh voices. She can't say It's just a nightmare; the scratching noises against the walls of her apartment at all hours keep her awake, and she tries not to think of how only a few centimeters of glass are between her and those...things.

The knot of anxiety in her stomach tightens, and she pushes away the remainder of her breakfast, having long lost an appetite but forcing herself to eat nonetheless. There's still some cold toast left on her plate, maybe they'd eat it if she threw it to them, perhaps that would distract them. But that would mean opening a window.

Apparently the Vine likes to linger outside windowsills as well, and the feed opens up to Nanako, looking very, very tired and huddled on a chair, hugging her legs to her chest and muttering absently, looking with dismay up towards the skies.]

...Birds like bread, but they're more human, so maybe they'd like meat...?

With the state of the Garden being what it is with these creatures invading what many of you have taken as your home, I am offering my home as a refuge for all of those in need of it. The Tohno Mansion is quite visible to any that venture into the Orchards. We have ample supplies and means of protection.

[Just then a flaming mass of feathers comes falling from the sky. Akiha cuts herself off as she jumps to the side, narrowly avoiding being hit by the inflamed harpy. She looks back at the mansion and yells at someone out of sight.]
