[The message comes through slowly, the writer pausing occasionally to make sure she is making sense.]

With the emphasis on romance placed in our interactions here-as those that were present for last month's message from the Queen have probably deciphered-a question comes to mind. What if back home, romance never was and appeared to never be a familiar concept to you? How exactly is one meant to reconcile their beliefs?

Before you start spouting anything about "people learn to cope" or any of that, know that I already know.

[Spock has not yet changed out of the shift and is holding her uniform as she addresses the plant. Her first priority is contacting the Enterprise; rectifying her inappropriate state of attire will have to wait.]

Spock to Enterprise, Spock to Enterprise. Please come in.

[When there is no answer, she changes her tactics.]

This is Commander Spock of the Starship Enterprise to anyone receiving this message, please respond. [A bee flits across the screen and lands on her nose; she blinks and waits for it to fly away.] Am I addressing the Queen of Hearts?

[The vine focuses on a rather haggard looking Lucy, though at least this time she seems to have activated it on purpose. She's dressed in the outfit she arrived in, though now she is sporting a rather nasty black eye, and is covered in a thick layer of dirt.]

So, does anyone happen to be in need of a roommate? Preferably somewhere that doesn't have floors made of rubber, and where whoever enchanted the items to clean the room didn't make them randomly explode?

[To herself] How can both the places I tried have something wrong with them? Has my luck really not changed?
