[Dominique looks a little more tousled than usual, slightly out of breath, but her expression is as calm and controlled as always.]

I require a weapon. Preferably, a gun. But anything that will do more damage to these beings than this.

[She holds up a large, solid tree branch, one that the robots had cut down and she had retrieved to use against them. She's attempting to keep something of a perimeter around Caprica's house, unable to harm the clockwork creatures permanently, but attempting to at least beat them back.

She's distracted from the vine for a moment to deal with another of them, the sound of wood hitting metal several times, then she returns to the mirror.]

It would be appreciated, greatly.

[Epsilon appears on the Vine. She looks sad and more than a little weary, which makes her appear somehow less substantial than she usually does. Yet her voice is firm, and she does not waver. A few of the robots are with her, and they are quite contentedly keeping her company. One of them is buzzing near her head, and she gives it a light, fond touch.]

To those of you who are destroying the robots, I wish to make an appeal.

I understand your rationale, but please, there is no need to harm them. They damage objects, but these are objects which can be replaced. The robots do not attack humans without cause. They fight when attacked, to defend themselves. They are not our enemies. This might be a terrible misunderstanding.

I've visited their city, under the earth. They can build. They appear to have a society. I cannot communicate with them verbally, and I don't fully understand them, but they do listen to attempts at nonverbal communication. They may be exploring the Gardens, as we explored their world. They may be confused. This place must be so alien to them, as it is so unlike their home. Attempt to communicate with them. Make that effort. They can understand and learn. If any of you are in danger from robots who have been angered, I can defend you without harming them. If necessary, I will take steps to defend them without harming you.

I too am a robot, a machine. Even if I did not look like a human or had difficulty communicating with you, I would value my existence no less.

[After waking up she wanders for a few minutes, trying to make sense of her surroundings, still dressed in the plain clothes she found herself in. Evidently her wide shoulders make for a good perch, several colourful birds are chirping away happily next to her ear. The strange plant in front of her seems to be offering her something to speak into, and while she is suspicious, she would like an explanation.]

I am the Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic, Anya Braginskaya, and I am thinking there has been a confusion. I am not wanting to be in one of America's silly Disney movies, I am quite busy...

[It is warm and lovely here but her boss will be so cross if she is not back soon. She seems calm enough for now, but who knows how long that will last? She pauses for a few minutes.]

I am not finding this very funny.

[ The Vine broadcast comes from the inside of the Seventh Heaven. It appears to be eerily quiet and Emilia is sitting on the counter with a tired expression, rubbing her face with one hand, the other on her lap holding a cigarette between her fingers. She finally looks at the Vine and shakes her head like she's blaming someone for this mess. ]

C'est vraiment ridicule, oui? [ A sigh. She looks over her shoulder and waves her hand as if to attract an off-screen someone's attention. ] Stop peeking outside, Ellie, we're supposed to be hiding.

[ She isn't very pleased that after that whole argument of no guns, these robots appeared out of nowhere to cause havoc. The irony of this situation, she is so aware of it. She will probably end up gritting her teeth flat with all the, well, gritting she's making. ]

I'm offering shelter at the Seventh Heaven for anyone who needs it while this whole... [ She gestures vaguely with her hand, shaking her head. ] You know. [ There's a pause. ] Xion, don't go off defending yourself, all right? Come over and we'll protect you.

[Somewhere in the Gardens, there is a lovely little patch of tulips. At some point, there's a panicked Canada at the edge of those tulips, trying frantically to explain to little robotic things that if you're trimming tulips at all, you need to cut the stems and not straight through the petals. Because tulips are friendship-type flowers and sometimes they really, really matter to people!

Not a day later, she's sitting with a lapful of neatly trimmed-at-the-stem tulips in front of a vine mirror, looking utterly confused.]

S-so... the new things, from Antikythera? I think you just have to be nice to them.

Umm. And now I have too many cut tulips. Would anyone like one?

((ooc: feel free to drop in on her lecturing the bots, or reply to her video over the vine. replies may be slow in a few minutes, but will pick up again later!))

[Utena is sitting at her basketball court, watching as the robots wander about. She appears to have gotten quite a few rounded up. One appears to be trying to bounce a basketball. A mechanical bird is perched on Utena's finger. She's tired, but outside of a few scrapes, she looks no worse for wear. She keeps her eyes on the bird, but it is clear she's addressing the Vine. Her tone is thoughtful and soft.]

Say, everyone. If you give these things something to do, they're not gonna hurt anyone. It takes a while, but it works. Maybe it'd be best not to fight 'em. Most of you saw what happened when some people didn't take care of the roses...well, maybe this is the same way. Maybe we're supposed to help them out. If we keep hurting them, something even worse might happen.

[She shakes her head and frowns, perplexed.] I really don't wanna fight killer roses again, or anything like that.
