Ugh... my head... what happened?

[There's a girl you haven't seen before in the middle of the Gardens; she looks disoriented, and that white shift looks fairly familiar... If left to her own devices, she'll panic for a minute, then start to look around; it'll be easy to miss, but she's trembling, likely afraid of what happened to her. Once she finds someone, though, she'll immediately make her way over.]

Do you... know where we are? Or what happened to me? This... isn't what I was wearing when I was conscious last.

[The girl you're seeing looks quite a bit more calm than she did just a little while ago, though it's replaced by confusion; she's wearing a male school uniform, of all things, but it doesn't look too out of place on her. It looks like she's holding a scroll.]

Why is a plant...? Oh, is it doing- oh! I'm still not entirely sure what's going on here, but I guess I've been invited to your "Gardens". My name is Myoudou- sorry, Itsuki Myoudouin. Pleased to meet you. I've gotten some basic information on this place, but...

If anyone knows what's going on, I would appreciate information. I left some people in the middle of something important, and I should get back to them. It's... urgent.

[She looks exceptionally nervous, or possibly worried. Hard to tell.]

"You, like the others here, have been abducted by the Queen of Hearts."

A dark haired woman wearing a bomber jacket over a black tank top and shorts says this, her hands open and her palms up to demonstrate that she's unarmed.

"Apart from her habit of plucking girls from everywhichwhere, she's benign and leaves us to our own devices. Do you need help finding your clothes and equipment?"

I... abducted!? But... it feels like I'm in a garden or something, not kidnapped by some unseen power. I... are you sure? It just seems weird to me.

Um... I would appreciate help finding my things, yes. I don't wear things like this. [The girl looks down at herself, trying to get a better idea of how underdressed she actually is... then she seems to realize something, and stops with a faint blush.] Actually, I take that back. The one I wore before was longer, though.

"These gardens are... let's call it the home of the Queen of Hearts for now." The woman shook her head. "And if it seems weird to you, well. That's because it is deeply strange."

"Your clothing should be nearby. I have to say, the noob shift was never really my style."

The home of the Queen, huh...? Well, I guess there's nothing I can do about it...

[Seemingly resigned to her fate, the girl starts hunting for her things; she gives a noncommittal nod at her companion's offhand comment.]

...You seem like you've been here a while.

She visibly tenses, her shoulders rolling involuntarily. "...Recently returned."

Meaning you went home for a little while, and then came back?

[Itsuki seems to contemplate this for a little bit as she continues searching.]

Well, I guess it's better to have seen your friends than to be here forever...? [Nope, she's got nothing.]

...Actually, I can agree with that. They'll get by; I trained them well. I'd rather be helping them, though.

You have friends here that you know of?

I'm glad you can depend on them, at least. It sounds like they'll have it rough without you, though. I don't know that the people I left behind will manage in my absence.

As for my friends... I'm not sure, but I have a suspicion they're not here. The three of them were all fighting alongside me when... [Itsuki seems to stress for a moment to think of something.] ...I don't know what happened, actually. I suspect something hit me pretty hard, and I blacked out. Next thing I knew... I was waking up here.

....Ah! [Itsuki seems to have finally come across her things; she picks up something white with gold accents that looks for all the world like a horribly-designed perfume bottle, and thinks for another moment.] That's the only explanation, I think. I was fighting and I must have gotten knocked out. I wouldn't still have... [She trails off, a quick glance back reminding her she still has an audience.]

You've been kidnapped. As far as I'm aware, there's not any way for you to convince the Queen to return you, although some people do end up leaving the gardens.

[sunbloom]

[There's a pause while Itsuki digests this.]

That... doesn't sound pleasant. I don't think there's a whole lot I can do about it at this point, but we'll have to see what happens, I guess.

Of course. I've had some time to "get used" to the idea of being here, and while in some ways it's improved in some I still know I should be doing my duty back on my world.

[sunbloom]

Well, it's more like... I got pulled from a fight in the place I left. And I don't know if my comrades will be able to take care of things without me. It'll take some time before I can set that aside.

[The Heartcatch Orchestra... needs four Cures to fire. Itsuki knows this plenty well enough, and she's worrying her lower lip as she thinks about it.]

For what it's worth, I've heard a rumor that time in your world may not continue to pass while you're here. I haven't been able to confirm it, however.

[There's a pause for a moment. Then Itsuki relaxes almost immediately after.]

Then I'm not so worried. If the girls aren't going to get into huge amounts of trouble without me, then I can take it easy here.

Which begs the question... what is there to do here?

Not much, most of the time. Although there are occasionally conflicts which demand our attention.

[Urd was laying on her back getting some sun when Itsuki appears. She looks at her and lowers her sunglasses.]

You are in the Queen's Garden.

[sunbloom]

[The girl seems... confused at having someone lazing about where she's just appeared.]

That... isn't horribly descriptive... Sorry, I'd be a little more social if I weren't so confused right now.

[mistressurd]

[Urd turned over onto her stomach]

To put it simply, this is a place where girl love flourishes. You are here to find your true female lover.

[sunbloom]

[A long moment passes.]

Wait, what!? I don't understand, I... [She catches herself about to say something and snaps her mouth shut audibly; a hint of a blush creeps onto her face.]

I take it there are only women in this "Garden", then? [Clearly she's pushed off the obvious question for a moment.]

[mistressurd]

[Urd chuckles]

That would make sense if this is a female lovers paradise, no wouldn't it.

...and I suspect there's no way for me to leave, is there? [Itsuki has a pretty good idea where this is going, but may as well make sure. The expression on her face suggests that having a proper "reason for being" is enough to start calming her down.]

Well... I guess there's nothing for it, at this point. If I'm stuck here, I may as well enjoy myself and try not to think about what I left behind.

Not like I was ever close to a boy anyway... probably won't be that unusual. Maybe I'll understand Tsubomi's feelings a little better, too.

[Does she even realize she's rambling out loud...?]

[Itsuki shrugs.] Oh, well; it's not like she's here now. Yes, I'm fairly certain she did. Then again, she thought I was a boy at the time. But... I'm not sure she let it go.

[Urd was hoping she was going to blush and freak out. As such, she looks disappointed in this response]

Oh. Well, I can see how she could mistake you for a boy, unless very effeminate boys are all the rage right now.

It was really hard to tell back then, I think. It was all just habit. Now, though...

[Urd will get the blush she was waiting to see, if not quite to the same trigger.]

They've been helping me get back in touch with myself. If she still has that crush... that might be a little weird, I guess. I mean, she knows I'm a girl, and we're close friends, so... Should I ask her when I see her again? Or... do I like her like that? Wait, or...

[And now she's off on a potentially dangerous tangent. Nice going, Urd.]

[Now Urd is getting excited.]

[That comment from Urd is enough to start getting her flustered, but after a few moments she seems to realize something, and she immediately frowns.]

But... I might not even see her for a while, considering I'm here. [She sighs.] I'll... make a decision on her later, once I get a chance to sort out my feelings. It's not like I won't have time, right?

Now now, don't get too upset.

[Urd then floated into the air, moving into a sitting position]

You can use this time to see how you feel about girls, and to learn some nice techniques and gain some experience.

[Itsuki takes a deep breath and lets it out, glancing up at Urd.]

Okay. That... seems reasonable, I guess. A little weird, but then, this whole situation is weird, so I can't complain. Honestly, this whole situation scares me a little, but I'll give it a shot.

...Does this happen often? A new girl shows up here and has a minor existential crisis upon arrival?

You seem to be handling it better then some people. Granted, I have only been here a month, but still.

Well, it's not like there's a whole lot I can do about it. I can't go home, after all. So I may as well live a little while I'm here. And you're right, this is a good place to get some experience with relationships. After all, it's not like I'm going to meet anyone I know at this rate.
